I got invited to exhibit a coulpe pieces at this rad lil sauree - def go check it out if you’re in cape town… But not because I’m there, but because spoek will be. What a legend!
Just a quick sketch for a wall mural I’m hoping to do. Lemmy, you mufucker.
I haven’t posted much on the ‘You&me’ project on my blog but it is finally launching next tuesday! I’m really happy with the work and even happier that people seem to be amped for the show! Get the lowdown on the Facebook page. See you on Tuesday!
It’s been totally manic as per usual but there’s some good shit in the pipeline. Until then, here’s some shots of my work from WorkingClass’ ‘Oh Sheet!’ show a few months ago. Enjoy!
I’ve been super busy and stressed lately so my brain isn’t digging me very much. Don’t worry, my Little Friend - I’ll soak you in drink over the weekend, I promise.
Finally got the set up on behance of my pair of shoes that I customized last year sometime. This was my first pair that I’ve done so I was pretty stoked with the outcome, I reckon. Many apologies for being a shameless self-promotion whore, I’ll make more of an effort to put up more posi-vibes, jams and random stuff in future! To hell with behance!
“I’m a loser baby, so why don’t ya kill me.”
I’ve been scarce but it’s because there’s some big stuff happening in the pipeline - I haven’t been watching TV, I promise. Either way, here’s a link to an old project I may or may not have posted already. Anyways, check it out
Yes, its been super busy lately so I’ve been pretty slack with uploading. The Shame! Either way, I was trawling through the archives and came across this little gem. I Heart Durban Parties - what a vibe!
Ugh, I watch far too much South Park. Happy Thursday!
A couple weeks back, Matt Kay and myself spent a few mellow evenings jamming a sweet custom paint job on his old surfboard. Check out the birth of Surfin Bird. Happy Thursday!
Its friday and the last day of the sketchbook overview. Have a killer weekend, geezers
Day three:
I don’t really have anything to say about these. Laka
I finished one of my sketchbooks this week and so I saw it fit to have a week of uploads from that terrible little catalogue of scratches and ramblings. Get amped!
(This piece is about the shitty little teens who hang around the Pav skatepark on weekends. While skating there once, a 14-year-old girl came up to me and asked me if I’d help her roll a joint, at which I replied “If you can’t even roll then you shouldn’t be smoking, Little Girl”. She wasn’t impressed.
Lately, I’ve been feeling the pressure to capture and organise my work onto behance and all that type of thing. It sounds easy enough except for the fact that I’m a lazy bastard who would much prefer having a spliff and sketching angrily while listening to records rather than organise my life and be professional. But I’m trying! I’ve just updated my behance with a collection of works from my 2009 solo show ‘Youth and Young Manhood’.
I’m pretty new to behance so ‘follow me’ or whatever - I’d love to see what everyone is up to these days! Check it out!
